Proverbs Ch. 16 Verse 7
"When a man's ways please
the Lord, he makes even his
enemies to be at peace with
him.
Hebrews Ch. 11 Verse 6
And without faith it is impossible to
please him, for whoever would draw
near to God must believe that he
exists and that he rewards those who
seek him.
Galatians Ch. 1 Verse 10
For am I now seeking the approval of
man, or of God? Or am I trying to
please man? If I were still trying to
please man, I would not be a servant
of Christ.
1 Thessalonians Ch. 2 Verse 4
But just as we have been approved by
God to be entrusted with the gospel,
so we speak , not to please man, but
to please God who tests our hearts.
