Listening To God:
James Ch. 1 Verse 19
Know this, my beloved brothers: let every
person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow
to anger .
Proverbs Ch.19 Verse 20
Listen to advice and accept instruction , that
you may gain wisdom in the future.
Proverbs Ch. 18 Verse 13
If one gives an answer before he hears, it is his
folly and shame.
Proverbs Ch. 2 Verse 2
Making your ear attentive to wisdom and
inclining your heart to understanding.
Proverbs Ch. 25 Verse 12
Like a gold ring or an ornament of gold is a wise
reprover to a listening ear.
John Ch. 8 Verse 47
Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The
reason why you do not hear them is that you are
not of God.
Proverbs Ch. 18 Verse 2
A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but
only in expressing his opinion.
Galatians Ch. 4 Verses 6-9
And because you are sons, God has sent the
Spirit of his Son into our hearts , crying "Abba!
Father ! So you are no longer a slave, but a son,
and if a son, then an heir through God,. Formerly,
when you did not know God, you were enslaved
to those that by nature are not gods. But now
that you have come to know God, or rather to
be known by God, how can you turn back again
to the weak and worthless elementary
principles of the world , whose slaves you want
to be once more ?
Mark Ch. 9 Verse 7
