one who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence
to the foreigner, the fatherless, or the widow, and do
not shed innocent blood in this place.
Psalm Ch. 10: V8 in the secret places doeth he murders
the innocent... Psalm 106:38 And shed innocent
blood, even blood of their sons and of their
daughters ; and polluted the land with blood.
Isaiah Ch.1: V17 Learn to do good , seek justice, correct
oppression: bring justice to the fatherless, plead the widow's
cause.
Proverbs 31: V8-9 "Open your mouth for the
mute, for the rights of all who are destitute.
Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the
rights of the poor and needy."
Zechariah Ch.7: V9-10 "Thus says the Lord of
host, "Render true judgments, show kindness
and mercy to one another, do not oppress the
widow, the fatherless, the sojourner or the poor,
and let none of you devise evil against another
in your heart."
Sojourner means:{ a temporary resident . type of
occupant, occupier, resident . someone who lives at
a particular place for a prolonged period or who
was born there. }
Micah Ch.6: V8 "He has told you, O man, what is
good, and what does the Lord require of you
but to do justice, and to love, kindness, and to
walk humbly with your God?"
Romans Ch.12: V15-18 "Rejoice with those who
rejoice, weep with those who weep. Live in
harmony with one another. Do not be haughty,
but associate with the lowly. Never be wise in
your own sight. Repay no one evil for evil, but
give thought to do what is honorable in the
sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on
you , live peaceably with all."
1 John Ch.3 V17-18 "But if anyone has the world's
goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes
his heart against him, how does God's love
abide in him? Little children, let us not love in
word or talk but in deed and in truth."
Proverbs 29: V7 "A righteous man knows the
rights of the poor; a wicked man does not
understand such knowledge."
