How is it that you came to us on
this holy day!
It wasn't just some
ordinary day!
It was foreseen.
and foretold
by the prophets!
"Prepare the Way
for the Lord!"
The announcement came
from Angel Gabriel
softly telling the
good news!
Mary, a young meek
woman was chosen
by God the divine!
Her answer was "Yes!"
"Be it done unto me
according to thy word."
It was the New Beginning
of hope for God's people!
A King was born in our midst!
A Savior given to us all in
His glory!
His birth brought forth
a new light that overcame
darkness!
May Christ Holy Blanket
cover us of his love!
For he came to us
on Christmas Day
