1 John Ch 4: verses 9-11 (God's love was revealed in our midst in this way:
He sent his only Son to the world
that we might have life through him.
Love, then, consists in this.
not that we have loved God,
but that he has loved us
and has sent his son as an offering for our sins.
Beloved,
if God has loved us so,
we must have the same love for one another.)

CARRYING OUR CROSS
Though we carry the Cross of suffering
Though we carry the Cross of pain
Though our pain is often physical, emotional, or spiritual
We Will Carry Our Cross.
Although we don't necessarily accept Our Cross
We Will Pick Up Our Cross.
Our Lord will be at our side
He will be the one to give Us Strength
He will ask Us "take up your Cross"
Through Your Cross I am giving You
You will receive MY GLORY IN HEAVEN!
Although it is natural to want the Cross to go away, however
We want what God wants
How he wants it,
The way he wants it.
We can even have Peace in our hard times, however
We pick up OUR CROSS.
We are not to avoid OUR CROSS
Satan tries to keep us away from OUR CROSS
Satan wants us not to TRUST IN GOD
Satan wants us to avoid Our Suffering, and Pain
Satan wants us to Blame God, and we look down on Our Own Cross.
Satan whispers do not pick up your Cross.
Dear Ones, our Cross is our own, Given by God Himself
God gives Us Our Cross, to help build strength in Him
We become ONE in Christ, through OUR CROSS
How do we ask ourselves; how do I love this, Pain?
How do I love My Cross?
God will direct Us the way He wants us to go.
We are to face our cross and pick it up.
The Cross is not the end, it is for a greater means
Jesus is closer to Us when we are suffering,
when we have hardships, and trials.
WE RAISE UP OUR CROSS, AND OFFER IT ALL UP TO GOD
Our Lord will not break His Promises
He tells Us "Do not fear
I will give you Strength
those who look HIGH ON THE CROSS
will always be underneath
My Holy Protection."
Dear One's: May we Help Carry Ones Cross who seem difficult, and heavy. We can go to ones needs and help carry their heavy load. We can help their Cross become lighter, by simply doing acts of kindness. It is often the person to person contact or hearing of one's voice in telling them they are loved.
Oh, my Jesus!
I will carry my Cross, for
it is You who gave it to Me.
Please help me to "face my Cross"
Please help me to "step forward in your will."
Please help me " not to step backward."
May I not "hand my Cross to another."
May I not " be tempted to toss it away!"
Please help me "not to avoid my Cross."
Please help me "To Trust You with My Cross."
Please help me "to carry my Cross, and
I will rest in You.

LOVE IS THE KEY TO UNDERSTANDING SUFFERING
GOD REVEALS HIS LOVE THROUGH HIS CROSS

Psalm 27 verse 4-6; Trust in God
One thing I ask of the Lord.
this I seek.
To dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
That I may gaze on the loveliness of the Lord
and contemplate his temple.
For he will hide me in his abode
in the day of trouble.
He will conceal me in the shelter of his tent.
he will set me high upon a rock.
Even now my head is held high
above my enemies on every side.
and I will offer in his tent
sacrifices with shouts of gladness.
I will sing and chant praise to the Lord
Luke Ch 9 verses 46-50 (Against Ambition) A discussion arose among them as to which of them was the greatest. Jesus, who know their thoughts, took a little child and placed it beside him, after which he said to them, "Whoever welcomes this little child on my account welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me welcomes HIM who SENT ME; for the LEAST one among you is the GREATEST. " It was John who said, "Master, we saw a man using your name to expel demons, and we tried to stop him because he is not of our company." Jesus told him in reply, "Do not stop him, for any man who is not against you is on your side."
Luke Ch 16: verses 1- 31 (The rich man and Lazarus)
"Once there was a rich man who dressed in purple and linen and feasted splendidly every day. At his gate lay a beggar named Lazarus who was covered with sores. Lazarus longed to eat the scraps that fell from the rich man's table. The dogs even came and licked his sores. Eventually, the beggar died. He was carried by angels to the bosom of Abraham. The rich man likewise died and was buried. From the abode of the dead where he was in torment, he raised his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus resting in his bosom.
"He called out, "Father Abraham, have pity on me. Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water to refresh my tongue, for I am tortured in these flames. "My child, replied to Abraham, " remember that you were well off in your lifetime, while Lazarus was in misery. Now he has found consolation here, but you have found torment. and that is not all. Between you and us there is fixed a great abyss, so that those who might wish to cross from here to you cannot do so, nor can anyone cross from your side to us.
" Father, I ask you, then, the rich man said, "send him to my father's house where I have five brothers. Let him be a warning to them so that they may not end in this place of torment." Abraham answered, they have Moses and the prophets. Let them hear them. No, Father Abraham, replied to the rich man. But if someone would only go to them from the dead, then they would repent. Abraham said to him, "If they do not listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be convinced even if one should rise from the dead."
Luke Ch 17: verses 1-7 (Four Sayings of Jesus)
He said to his disciples: "Scandals will inevitably arise, but woe to him through whom they come. He would be better off thrown into the sea with a millstone around his neck than give scandal to one of these little ones. " Be on your guard, if your brother does wrong, correct him; if he repents, forgive him. If he sins against you seven times a day, and seven times a day turns back to saying, "I am sorry, forgive him." The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our faith, "and he answered, "If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this sycamore, be uprooted and transplanted into the sea. and it would obey you.
"If one of you had a servant plowing or herding sheep and he came in from the fields, would you say to him. Come and sit down at table? Would you not rather say, Prepare my supper. Put on your apron and wait on me while I eat and drink. You can eat and drink afterward? Would he be grateful to the servant who was only carrying out his orders: It is quite the same with you who hear me? When you have done ALL, you have been commanded to do, say " We are useless servants. We have done no more than our duty."
