The Empty Nail (story)

     It's a warm and gloomy day. You awoke and it's time for you, and your boyfriend, to go to your doctor's appointment. You arrive at the clinic and pull into the parking garage.  You look over to your boyfriend and say "I am nervous." He takes you by the hand and tells you, that you will be o-k, and he is with you."  As you are walking on the long sidewalk , you can see construction work is going on. The sounds make you a bit nervous , for you can hear pounding of the hammers echoing from the site. You walk past a flower garden with the spring fragrance in the chilly air. Looking downward you spot  a small butterfly, landing on a flower.
     You both finally make it to the clinic door, you sign in, and approach your seats.  The receptionist hands you forms to sign. You begin reading the information given, and signed the forms.  You look around the room, as you await for your name to be called. The room was comfortable, with some plants, and a large fish tank.  You can still hear the sounds of the construction site, outside the clinic.
Suddenly you have a flashback of when you were a small child , nervous at a doctor's appointment.
You can still see yourself being comforted by your mother, and her words in saying, "You will be o-k and I am with you."
     Your name is called, and you go to your assigned room. Your boyfriend was allowed to come with you, until the procedure takes place. The nurses get you all prepared to abort your unborn baby.
You begin looking around your room, you noticed it was very plain, however you could see an empty nail hanging on a wall. Suddenly, you flashed back to Jesus, being crucified!  You tried so hard to erase him from your mind.  You turned your mind on the beautiful small butterfly on the flower. You was trying to find some sort of peace , in what was about to take place.  Another thought came to your  head about the small butterfly. It was given new life and freedom to go where it wants to. Looking back at the empty nail, made Jesus come back to you, even stronger !
     Your boyfriend asked if you were alright, and you answered him," No !"  Softly you continue in saying, "I don't know what is wrong with me!" and  "I am afraid." He answers you in a soft tone "You will be o-k !" and "I am with you." The doctor came in, ready to perform your abortion. Your boyfriend gives you a kiss on the cheek, and leaves the room.
     You glanced over to the empty nail and tears began to flow from your face. You look up to your doctor in saying,"I can't do this!" You get yourself dressed and walk down the long hallway. You were so happy to find your boyfriend waiting in the waiting room. He could see your tears and embraces you. You sadly looked up to him in saying, "I can't do it !" He then takes you by your hand, and you both walk out the clinic door.
    Suddenly, you both begin to feel raindrops, and is covering the sidewalks. Your boyfriend takes his jacket off to cover your head. You stop him in saying, "No ! I want to feel the rain, for it is Jesus
tears covering me !"
     The construction workers was silent, due to the rain.  As you continue walking, you pass by the beautiful flower garden, with the butterfly gone !  Finally you both arrive to the car and stood underneath the parking garage. You look up to your boyfriend in saying,"those who want to save their life will lose it and those who lose their life for my sake will save it." She continued in saying , "Our lives are going to become different !" I want freedom of joy like the butterfly, not freedom of pain."  the end.

Dear One's, You can find that quote in Matthew Ch. 16 Verse 25 . Jesus was saying to follow Him we must die to ourselves, and begin in saving our lives / our souls in following Christ . 

If you have had an abortion, Our Lord , Jesus is with you , and he will never leave you.
If you need to speak with a priest, preacher, or deacon, then please fill free do do so . May this story help to push you forward in FREEDOM ! THE SAME AS THE BUTTERFLY !

Remember always JESUS MERCY IS GREATER THAN OUR SINS.
