You have received the news about your unborn baby!
The Doctor's reveal to you that your baby has a
medical condition
and he or she will never live a normal life.
Your family with all their love and support listen to
"Your Story."
You are given comments such as :
You will have to quit your job.
You know this is going to be most difficult
to handle.
Your baby will live an abnormal life!
Your loved ones in their misguided compassion say,
"It's your pregnancy! Do what you think is best!"
You are given pamphlets on your child's
unhealthy state
and pamphlets on abortion.
It was a sunny, cool, and brisk morning!
You decide to take a walk around the park.
You notice the leaves falling off the trees and
the beauty of colors beginning to change!
You notice the leaves on the ground are of
different shapes, sizes, and colors!
You stoop down and begin picking up one
of the orange leaves. You reach over to pick
up another leaf of yellow. You see in a distance
a bench covered with red leaves.
You walk over to the bench and hold the
beautiful leaves of red!
You carefully bundle the leaves together
on the bench. You noticed the beauty
of how the different colors and shapes
blended in! Furthermore, you noticed how the red
leaves stood out the most! When you took the
red leaves away from the bundle; it was less
vibrant!
You thought about this and imagined for a
moment; maybe my unborn baby will be
shaped differently, appear differently, and
could even become disabled.
Then you thought some more about your
unborn baby! Maybe he or she will be like
the red leaves that will help add beautiful color
and life to me. Maybe he or she will help bring
me understanding of true love and bonding
of a mother and her child . You came to a
conclusion that taking away your child's life will
be like taking the light that was supposed to be
given! Not only to you but to the world!
Maybe having your baby is God's perfect
design for you to receive! It's as though
the red leaf stood out the most among
the other leaves and added such vibrant
color to the rest! Your unborn child in his
unknown paths; will be that vibrant beauty!
He or she will be the greatest gift from God!
Your baby will bring forth strength of courage!
The beauty of your unborn baby will allow
you to see and touch God, such as never
before! Your child may have challenges
like the
Doctors are telling you. But when you
touch and embrace your child
he or she will thrive!
You know you will have to trust
all that you have in God.
He alone will show you and your
family his remarkable
plan for your unborn child! You make a
decision that you will go along
with what God has in store for you and your
baby.
You take your jacket off and lay it on
the bench. You place your gathered
leaves gently on your jacket.
You look at the Trees of great beauty and
smile up to God ! You whisper aloud in
saying ," The leaves are ever so changing
and as Seasons go by so will we " and as
you continue back to your lovely home.
You keep saying to God " I will trust
in you, my Lord; for my unborn baby
and I have a story!" I will go with your plan!
Be with me every step of the way Lord!
You finally arrive back to your home!
You place your bundle of leaves
on top of your kitchen table. You find a wicker
basket that use to be your grandma's.
You carefully place the different colored
leaves inside the basket. Oh ' how they
brought such warmth and beauty in
your home! You make a phone call
to someone whom you love in saying,
I am going to keep my baby!" Because
we together have "A Story!" He or She
is a child of God; my baby
will be "My vibrant one!"
