Ephesians Ch 2: Verses 8-10
For by grace, you have been
saved through faith. And this is not your
own doing: it is the gift of God, not a
result of works, so that no one may
boast. for we are his
workmanship, created in Christ, Jesus
for good works, which God prepared
beforehand, that we should walk in them.
2 Corinthians Ch 4: Verses 16-18
So, we do not lose heart. Though our outer
self is wasting away, our inner self is being
renewed day by day. For this light
momentary affliction is preparing for us
an eternal weight of glory beyond all
comparison, as we look not to the things
that are seen but to the things that are
unseen. For the things that are seen are
transient (momentary) but the things that are unseen
are eternal.
