On January 20, 2026, I was working at my part-time laundry job
at a nursing home. I had an extremely dirty
hoist covered with faeces (stool). (A hoist is made of durable
cloth and wraps around a person who needs lifted up
on a Hoyer, a lift for people who are wheelchair bound.
I placed the soiled hoist in a large bag with a note on it.
The note said, "Needs to be in the hopper, thanks."
(A hopper is a large sink that flushes like a toilet.)
I went to one of the dirty linen stations and placed
the bag on the countertop near the hopper.
On January 24, four days later I had to work and I noticed the same
dirty bag with my written note was still on the countertop.
Although it wasn't my duty, I decided to rinse it out myself.
It was the first time I had ever used a hopper. I managed
to rinse the hoist out several times and placed it in a
clean bag ready to be washed.
Two days later on January 26, 2026, I had a short dream that me, Brad,
and our son Isaac was
going to Mass and were running a little late! We could hear the
congregation singing "Ave Maria" and it was so beautiful!
We entered into the church, and it was a little crowded.
My husband Brad and Isaac went toward the right side of the church
to find a seat, and I went to the left side. I passed by some smaller pews
that only held about two people. But as I went past one of them, I noticed
a dirty clear bag and cloth sitting on the short pew. I glanced at it and passed
by it. I decided to sit in a different pew a few rows forward. When I sat down
I noticed the dirty clear bag and cloth was sitting next to me.
I immediately grabbed the bag, and dirty cloth and went to the back of the church.
I then searched for a restroom to discard and throw it away!
Dream ended
This dream reminded me of maybe a homeless person needing to be
cleaned and taken care of. In the dream I wanted to ignore the "dirty
clear bag and cloth." But God gave me an opportunity to respond back
to him despite the situation.
This given dream from our Lord also reminds me of my task of rinsing out
the dirty hoist at my workplace. 🕇Our response belongs to God🕇
