WHERE ARE YOU MY PEOPLE Oct. 20, 2016**************
(1) BAPTISM : Acts Ch:2 Verse 38 "Do penance: and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins." note; the life of Grace is given to you by baptism. Through baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, you are born in the Church.
(2)CONFESSION: Proverbs Ch :28 Verses 13 "He that hideth his sins shall not prosper; but he that shall confess and forsake them shall obtain mercy."
John Ch: 20 Verses 19-25 "Jesus Breathed on them and said; "Receive the Holy Spirit, If you forgive men's sins, they are forgiven them; if you hold them bound, they are held bound. note: confession or reconciliation is asking God for forgiveness of sins, the Priest represent Jesus, and through this sacrament the Priest absolves our sins.
(3)COMMUNION: (2 Corinthians Ch:9 Verse 15 " Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift." and John Ch 6 Verses 41-58 "Jesus is telling His Disciples " He who feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has life eternal and I will raise him up on the last day." NOTE; THE BLESSED SACRAMENT IS THE REAL BODY AND BLOOD OF CHRIST(Heavenly Food) . Jesus changed the bread into His Body and the wine into His Blood during THE LAST SUPPER. Christ gave this power to the twelve disciples, and Our Priest are sucessors of the disciples. Our Lords great Love for Us is shown Particularly in the Blessed Sacrament and in the Holy Communion.( Eucharist means: Thanks giving) It is our altar call every Sunday or daily.) If one is unable to receive Christ in this Holy Sacrament you will receive many graces by Our Lord in making a spiritual communion :
O Jesus, I turn toward the holy tabernacle where you live hidden for love of me. I love you O my God. I cannot receive You in the Holy Communion. Come, nevertheless, and visit me with your grace. Come spiritually into my heart. Purify it. Sanctify it. Render it like unto Your own. Amen "Lord I am not worthy that Thou should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed. NOTE: Each time we go to Mass, may we think of it , as if it's our
First Time ! May we rekindle our love to Jesus ! Our Lord wants us to have fellowship and communion together in HIM.
(4)CONFIRMATION: Hebrews Ch 6 Verses 1-3 Let us, then go beyond the initial teaching about Christ and advance to maturity, not laying the foundation all over again; repentance from dead works, faith in God, Instruction about baptisms and laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgement. And, god permitting we shall advance! note: The Apostles not only had been confirmed ( made strong)but they also had power to confirm others. We are becoming followers and solders of Christ.
(5)MATRIMONY: Hebrews Ch 13 verse 4 "Marriage honorable in all, and the bed undefiled."
Marriage is when a woman and man are joined together in Union in Christ (becoming one)
Mark Ch 10 verse 8 "And the two are united into one flesh." Genesis Ch 2 verses 22-24
1 Corinthians Ch 7 verses 1-6 Ephesians Ch 5 Verses 22-23 Note: God Made Marriage. Governments did not make Marriage . CHRIST BROUGHT BACK GOD'S PLAN The sacredness of marriage was restored by the God-man Jesus Christ. Christ condemned those who broke God's laws on marriage. he raised marriage to the dignity of a Sacrament. He placed marriage on the same level as Baptism, Holy Communion and the other Sacraments. he made marriage a source of GRACE .
NOTE: Going outside your marriage is a MORTAL AND GRAVE SIN. YOU MUST SEEK OUT A PRIEST TO CONFESS YOUR SIN, AND STAY AWAY FROM THAT SIN OF ABOMINATION. note: Those who look at sinful and lustful magazines, photo's of any kind of
sexual invitation are underneath Grave Sin of adultery . A person is going outside his or her marriage if one invites or makes advancements with a third person; ( outside your marriage)
Remember always, Marriage is a total self gift to your spouse and your family. Jesus, laid his life for His Church a total self gift, carrying his cross up to His Death. Married couples will follow Jesus as example he gave US. We work through our difficulties TOGETHER , carry our CROSSES with each other, until our Death. May we not do this alone in our trials. May we ask Our Dear Lord for His Divine Help and His Love to Pour over Our Marriage, with His protection.
SAME SEX (HOMOSEXUALITY) IN THE BIBLE Leviticus Ch 18 verse 22"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; such a thing is abomination meaning : ( detestable, unlawful, repulsive, wicked, sinful.) Romans Ch 1 Verses 24-32 ( speaks of God delivered them up in their lusts to unclean practices ,they exchanged THE TRUTH OF GOD for a LIE. Men did shameful things with men . Ezekiel Ch 16 speaks of Sodom and how God's wrath fell upon them due to their abominable ways of sin.
NOTE This pertains to women with women, for God is speaking about same sex activities a person who is having sexual tendencies isn't a sin in itself, however it is the ACTING upon that is GRAVE SIN and offensive to God. Please pray about your situation you might find yourself in and SEEK OUT A PRIEST OR PREACHER WHO CAN HELP YOU IN THE BEST WAY !

GOD LOVES ALL PEOPLE, AND HE HAS MERCY ON THE ONE WHO GOES TO HIM WITH A PURE HEART, AND REFUSES SIN. Jesus Died on the Cross For EVERYONE !!
St. Matthew Ch.20 verse 16 "Jesus speaks about entering into his kingdom " Thus the last shall be first and the first shall be last." note: Our Lord's Mercy is endless. Jesus invites ALL to be his own children no matter what stage , or how old in life we are in. Our lord's Mercy refuses to be restrained, and our conversion to HIM rescues US no matter what we have done. When we join Our Heart to His Sacred Heart nothing can come between YOU and JESUS.

(6)HOLY ORDERS AND THE PRIESTHOOD: Acts Ch 14 verse 22 " And when they had ordained to them priests in every church ; they commended them to the Lord." note: Jesus Christ established the Catholic Priesthood Himself. Christ gives us His teachings and His grace through the priests. Therefore the priest and the priesthood are an essential part of the Catholic Church. Bishops and priests have accomplished the spread of Christianity throughout the world by following the command of Christ:( Matthew Ch 28 verses 18-20 )Jesus came forward and addressed them (His Disciples) in these words: Full authority has been given to me both in heaven and on earth; "go therefore, teach ye all and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you." and know that I am with you always, until the end of the world!"
(7)THE SACRAMENT OF THE ANOINTING OF THE SICK: James Ch 5 verse 14 "Is any man sick among you? Let him bring in the priest of the church." note: Sacraments accompany us on our journey from our Birth to our Death. The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is the wonderful sacrament made by Jesus Christ that helps us when we NEED IT MOST, namely when we are seriously sick. We can receive this sacrament more than once, as needed. Jesus Christ had great love for the sick. We would expect Christ to Provide Special Care for the sick. St. James Epistle (Ch 5 Verses 14-15.) Is any man sick among you? Let them bring in the priests of the church and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil, in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick man. And the Lord shall raise him up; and if he be in sins, they shall be forgiven him."
EVERY SACRAMENT OF GOD IS A SANCTIFYING GRACE.
