Today is January 28, 2025. I wrote my "Timeline" on my blog.
It's something I've been wanting to do but I really didn't know
how to begin.
I remember a time on May 13, 2019, when I felt
like giving up. I take myself back on that sorrowful morning
remembering my daughter's words echoing in the
background as she was sitting there on the soft
brown chair.
I remember feeling so alone and how can I begin to write to this
place of broken people! Because my daughter Rachel, was attentive
to me and could see my tears of sorrow, helped me to go forward!
I knew that I could have become
paralyzed in my motions and thinking! Listening and giving
our attention to people in confusion and sadness helps to keep things in
perspective. It allows the one who feels lost, to be able to see Christ light and
feel his peace. We begin to Trust in
God that he will help us make a move and do what is good
for ourselves and others,
Whenever we show courage and bravery it reminds us that we
rely on Christ and not our own understanding.
Our Lord is the one giving us that constant reminder to
not give up! He sees us in our own setting and brings the
calm.
May we seek out courage in Christ Love for one another.

by Lori Foster
Note: After I wrote this story "The Soft Brown Chair" I
shared about that time of my loneliness. The soft brown chair
that my daughter was sitting in and blurting out encouraging
words of concern are in my story called "You Can't Give Up" written
on May 13, 2019.
That date sounded familiar, so I looked up on-line
"The Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima"
is on May 13 (1917)
I know Blessed Mary is constantly
echoing in the background for us to stay strong and
press forward in her son our Lord Jesus🕇
Note: Whenever I feel alone and not sure of myself I hold on
to this writing "The Soft Brown Chair." It goes parallel with
"My Conversion" in 1992.
In my conversion I could have remained on my bathroom floor
in despair! I knew that if I wanted to make a change in my life,
it would have to begin with me and my full attention on Christ🕇
You Can't Give Up (Story of words I needed to hear in a time of need)
What a Beautiful Name (I dedicate this song to
"The Soft Brown Chair.")
